History of Polyconseil
Origins
Polyconseil was created in the late 80s with the goal to provide the banking industry with solutions for the development and implementation of new generation information systems. From IS, Polyconseil decisively moved to IT during the years 2000 to become a leading strategic consulting company in telecommunications and media.
2001 : from the banks to the telcos
The first turning point was made in the early 00's, while the telecom industry was facing a deep crisis that helped dealing the cards of the consulting sector again. Competing with generalist consulting companies, Polyconseil made the most of its ability to intervene quickly and accurately on very specific matters.
The choice was made to specialise on telecommunications and more specifically on value-added layers with the rare combination of both an expertise of technical solutions and an excellent understanding of market situation and stakes.
Beginning with local governments and state administrations projects, Polyconseil has progressively established itself as a leading consulting company for mobile and fixed telcos. From that time, various missions have been made for major operators such as Iliad, Neuf Cegetel, Orange, SFR, OPT-NC, Bouygues Telecom, Numericable and Colt..
2005 : the rise of the media
The second turning point in Polyconseil's history was made starting 2005 when the stakes of the content digitisation led to the creation of a new practice, Internet and Media. This new practice builds upon the strategic, technical and organisational keystones of Polyconseil. France Televisions, Bollore Medias and the SNCF are a few of Polyconseil's clients for this new field of activity.
2008 : the extension to information and communications technologies
Facing a strong growth and serving more and more varied companing, Polyconseil naturally went beyond its traditionnel media and telecom specialties. While keeping its cultural roots in technological expertise, our firm now handles all ICT-related questions, with a strong focus on innovation.
